SPACERS are safety devices used during maintenance tasks to isolate the line section (or part of the section) to inspect or replace.
Unlike a valve, spectacle blinds act as a permanent blocking device. ULMA spacers are manufactured in accordance with the ASME B16.48 standard or according to the customer’s specifications/drawings.

Full range: from ½ to 102 inches, for all pressure ranges (ASME, API, etc.) and many different types of alloys.

ULMA’s spacers can be manufactured with forged materials and with steel plates. They can be welded (angle or butt welding, according to the approved WPS/PQR) or manufactured in a single piece.

Moreover, ULMA can also supply special and non-standard flanges (design, calculation, manufacturing and testing) and critical joints (SUBSEA) that guarantee the integrity, utility and durability of the flange joint (flange + seal + spacer + seal + flange + bolts + nuts).
