ULMA Forged Solutions: a different brand with the same value
Like all large companies, we must invest, innovate and improve over time. Therefore, today we introduce our new brand: ULMA Forged Solutions. Our new name reflects the significant improvements we have made to our technology, market reach and product line over the past 10 years.
In the past decade, we have invested more than 80 million euros in our manufacturing plant, improving processes and technology so we can produce an increasingly wider variety of the high-quality products that our customers need.
The process started in 2010, when ULMA Forja, S.Coop., the company known for its ULMA Piping brand, acquired one of the most recognized forging businesses in Europe—Forjas de Lazcano, a leader in the forging components business since 1969. Our main objective was to serve the market for forged steel flanges not only for EPC projects but also to meet the demands of the oil and gas industry. Investments in this new plant also allowed us to continue to serve customers in other industries, such as aerospace, power generation, shipbuilding and nuclear defense, thus reinforcing these services with new levels of excellence.
Little by little, with the hard work of everyone involved, we managed to merge these two projects (ULMA Piping and ULMA Lazkao Forge). Last year, all staff and production facilities for the two companies were officially united within the structure of ULMA Forja, S.Coop. After 57 years in the business, we now proudly launch a new brand to reflect our commitment to being a market leader capable of providing high-quality, in-house solutions, using our well-known forging technology to serve all markets.
ULMA Forged Solutions now has more than 450 employees with two fully integrated manufacturing plants and customers in more than 70 countries. Our company’s leadership, workforce and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities remain the same as ever, but now they are under a new brand. To express our full capabilities and our continued commitment to market leadership, our two lines of business remain as they are—forged steel flanges for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries and high-specification forged components for OEMs.

We are committed to continuing to manufacture the highest quality products in the industry, with full transparency and integrity.
